Gentoo| Using Emoji in terminal, works as commands too

sudo emerge media-fonts/noto-emoji
sudo emerge =x11-terms/mlterm-3.8.6
mlterm --emoji /usr/share/fonts/noto-emoji/NotoColorEmoji.ttf



Test if it works:
echo -e "\U0001F"{0..999}


note: GPU terminal like kitty is far faster if you want to display images.

By the way you can use emoticons as alias or function.
